Installing Drupal

Seems like not matter what I try, I can't get my site to ping other sites. Is it just me? Are there any common mistakes that I can look for? Would anyone care to look at it and tell me whats the matter?

New Drupal user - like it so far. I'm trying to put together a site, where the model is that anyone can use the forum, invited authors can submit stories, and the editorial board can vet them before rthe public can see 'em.

I need to customise the formatting of the $this->links(link_page() data, does anyone know how to do this? Where is this array set?

I would like to know if there would be a possibility to make comments (and only the comments) to pop-up in a new little window instead of opening the node page, which increments the "read" counters.

Maybe someone has already developed something like that? Or is there a specific module that does this? (I doubt it...)

Just finished created two new themes for the nifity new drupal-powered site. One is "heavy" high-impact theme intedented for anonymous users. The other "light" theme intended to be fast and easy to navigated and is intended for registered users.

But I have yet to figure out how to have separate default themes for anonymous and registed users. Any hints on how to do this?

Hello, I just installed Drupal on win32 with Apache + MySQL (all newest versions). With the most basic system configuration, when I create any node (blog entry, site etc...) it is created twice. When I inspect the node table, I find two rows for every single node I create, with different nids.

Have I set something up wrong, or could this be a bug?
