Installing Drupal

I haven't touched drupal for a while, but a project that I was going to use it for is ramping up and I'm looking at my drupal installation.

I'm running on BSD and ImageMagick Version: ImageMagick 5.5.7 05/22/03 Q16.

I can't seem to create thumbnails or scale my image - is this a known bug? I've checked the admin settings, and changed everything to 777 for images and subdirs, and all seems right.

Any pointers / advice? in _image_convert I echo out the cmd and I get:

ok, i have winXp with IIS.
latest php, latest mySql, latest Drupal..... latest blank page.
after have created the db with phpmyadmin i call my drupal home and i get a blank page. even if i go to admin.php...

I'm getting the "this file extension is not allowed" when trying to upload an image with the "create image" command. However, the "preview" thing works very well, so what could be the matter? I've got the very latest version of image.module

Using the above CSS based design (this is how we learn), but I'm getting the following error right after log in. Any takers. The PHP is beyond me...thanks for looking

Hi guys,

Running Apache 2.0.40, default install of Redhat 9 and new version of MYSQL. Running version 4.1 of Drupal. Everything seems to be setup properly according to the documentation, yet I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect() in /home/perfectugly/www/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 12

Any takers? Hope I supplied enough info, if not, let me know.

I've set up bookmarks on the CVS. It all shows up properly and bookmarks can be added to and deleted from the block. But when I click on a bookmark it only loads the front page with something like: mysite.net/drupal/?q=34. Something seems to be missing here - does anyone know what?
