Installing Drupal

Hi all,
I'm having trouble understanding the link_page() and link_node() functions. I understand that link_page(), given you have not customized the menu, generates it and that link_node() generates links specific for the node. At least that's what I think I understand :).

The taconomy-structure (taxonomy_dhtml-module) works for anonymous user even they do not have access permission to the site

Is this intended?

Hi all, I'm trying to find a good blogging tool to update my drupal site with. I found a couple windows blogging clients that work, but haven't found crap in linux that works decent. I've been trying mozblog (blog module for mozilla) but that dosen't every seem to connect.

What are some good blogging clients for linux?

Has anybody got mozblog to work with drupal? If so, how?

I know something like this has come up before...but I don't see anything that's current on it, or that specifically asked about this portion of Durpal.

My hosting service is running with PHP Safe Mode enabled. Drupal has been running excellently in safe mode, however I have encountered one error with safe mode. When I go to execute cron.php:

warning: Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /home/virtual/site177/fst/var/www/html/cron.php on line 11.

Is there a way to get around this?

Using Drupal 4.2.0, changelog file dated 16 June, 2003, Apache, MacOSX, MySQL 3.23.53

I try to limit visibility of certain blocks to specific pages defined by a path.

The path is setup as /_xyz/ and I place an index.php file in a directory off the document root by that same name... thus

domain.name.com/_xyz/index.php
