Installing Drupal

I've created my first (admin) accout, I have the correct password, my database is set up, everything is working except that I can't login at all. Whenever I enter my username and password, it just reloads the current page. Nothing changes. I don't get it, I installed this thing as directly from the install instructions as I could.

Newest PHP, IIS 6, newest MySQL.

Please help.

Hi, I think drupal has some great applications, but I'm wondering if it can do what I need it to do (without custom coding that is). I would like to have a system whereby anyone (authorized or unauthorized) can submit a story node to the site. Depending on the category under which it is submitted (its taxonomy) I would like certain people to have the permission to approve the new story for publication.

I was changing and trying out some different themes from this website. All of a sudden I get the following error when using the menu (or any other function).

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: theme_basic theme in /home/virtual/site585/fst/var/www/html/includes/theme.inc on line 179

Any suggestions/solutions? I already replaced the files with the origionals...

I am having a strange error when installing a new module.

I believe I have put everything in its place according to the README files. When I go to Configuration --> Modules the new module shows up -- but without anything in the name column, and when I check the status check box, the new module does not show under Configuration --> Modules.

The module I am trying to get to work is taxonomy html or dhtml (I have had the same issue with both modules.)

Am I missing something obvious?

Instead of /node/view/10

I'd like

/cat/sub-cat/10

Anyone put me on the right path here?

I've been searching the docs but just can't find what I need to do to change:

node/view/10

Into

/tech/sub-tech/10

Presumably somthing to do with Taxonomy? - I have created the vovablarys and terms, just need a pointer now ;)
