Installing Drupal

Some time ago ... I *thought* there was an 'export.module', which allowed you to export some content via an RSS feed. Other sites could then import that RSS data - and viola! Magic.

However, I don't see any reference to the export.module, in the download section, in the 4.3.2 code, etc. I also searched the site, and the closest info I could come up to was an _export() hook:

but I'm not sure this isn't quite what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know what happened to the export.module? Am I just off my rocker and hallucinating over here? Ultimately I want to be able to export a certain taxonomy term (eg "Story" -> "Race Reports" for other sites to RSS import.

I've installed the project module and so far I'm very impressed. One quick question that's eluding me however:

As an admin, how can I assign a given task (or whatever) to a specific individual? From playing with different accounts it seems that a person can only assign a task to themselves or unassigned.

When I've used these systems in the past, its common to have someone in the 'triage' role looking at new entries and assigning them to the right person.

I am using CVS.
I create a static page not promoted to fron page. I complete both Link name and Link description fields. How am i supposed to get a list of those submitted links and where will it displayed?

First off: kudos to Drupal. Intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it, a lot can be done.

Currently I'm setting up Drupal on my private server as testbed for later deployment on a running website. Figuring out how the scheduler module works, I came across the following issue.

I think I've found what I was looking for in Drupal [4.3.2, MySQL, Apache], but have come across an odd problem. The sidebar in xtemplate is frequently missing on first logging in, and only appears on reloading the page or clicking the Druplicon logo.

Anyone else seen this?

I am running a personal website off of 1and1.com (free hosting with PHP and MySQL for 3 years by the way, offer ends Jan 21, hurry!). Anyway, I can't figure out how to clear all the errors on the install.
