Can not log in with IE

My current install of Drupal (4.6.2) works fine under Mozilla Firefox, but does not allow any users (admin or otherwise) to log in under Internet Explorer.

I have allowed all cookies for the site, and even allowed all cookies in general. I am not using that Windows Firewall that it wants to use. I have also tried logging in from several different systems and none of them work.

What is strange is the fact that everything works as it should under Firefox.

Cannot create admin user

Hi

I have gone through almost all such similar problems others are having and none of the solutions seem to work for me.

When I create the first admin user, the page keeps loading and does not give me the password.
When I try creating the same user again, I get an error that the user exists.

If I try to reset the password, the page keeps loading.

This is perhaps due to smtp not being configured, so I set it up, inspite of this I get the same problem.

wonder how to get around this.

Thanks for any help

Aggregator No longer working - Did search first...

I just installed Drupal onto my web site at www.aquaticwoodworks.com on Monday. Everything had been working very well including the aggregator. I do not recall making any changes from the time it was working to the time it wasn't working. It seemed to have just stopped overnight.

The problem is that when I click on my link for 'RSS Feeds', it just slowly clocks until I recieve a blank page that says 'Done' in the IE status bar while the mouse continues to clock when placed outside of the browser window (over the toolbars). This happens also when I try to administer the aggregator under Administrate.

I am a noob at this and do not have programming experience. All I have tried thus far is disabling the Aggregator module, saving settings, refresh, go back and reneable the Aggregator issue is the same.

Please help. I have done my best to search the forums for this error but am not finding any real solutions.

Here is the error I get in the log of Drupal. I have replaced my IP and folder name for obvious reasons.

0% of the site has been indexed

I have a new installation of 4.6.2 with the search module installed. I can't seem to figure out what is going wrong. In the search settings I see:

Indexing status

0% of the site has been indexed. There are 8 items left to index.

What am I doing wrong?

TIA

Hello, i have downloaded drupal 4.6.2 and extracted it. Now i want to make the database and so i logged invia myphpadmin to my database. here i pushed the button SQL and told him where he can find the database file (databas.mysql) but every time i get the error message "file could not be read" What do i have to do?

Howdy all

Yes, you all know the error. I have checked all the files. Spaces are gone.
I don't have shell access, so I ftp'd teh files; could that be a problem?
Also I cannot find the conf.php file (has the name changed to settings.php?)
What are other possible solutions? I keep looking at the same posts and finding nothing new to try...help! :)
