Installing Drupal

Hi, I've recently installed Drupal v4.6.3 (w/MySql4.1, apache 1.3) and everything works fine, except the primary/secondary links.
The url -- when clicking on edit primary (or secondary) links -- is http://localhost/drupal/?q=admin/themes/settings, but i get a totally blank page (source is a blank html too).

What should I do to fix this error?

I have installed, upgraded and am running Drupal 4.6. Forums seem to not be working correctly. I put the right path in, and when I click to use clean urls, forums page comes up with PAGE NOT FOUND. When I unclick, clean urls, it opens forums, but seems just to be opening them to the front page. At that point, the forum portion is all squished up, due to all the blocks on my front page. What am I doing wrong??

Directly after installation rather than being greeted with the standard page explaining what to do, I was greeted with a page not found. I could still create accounts however, and the admin section and everything do function, however I cannot create content, the link doesn't exist, and if I click on book or page or story they claim their page isn't found either. I am trying to get the box_grey template to work, I have installed the phptemplate engine. I have installed the box_grey files in my mythemes directory with it's subdirectory box_cleanslate, I am getting a new theme but only 2 columns instead of 3. I have replaced the logo with one of my own.

Also the drupal admin is giving me an error:

page not found 2005-09-13 21:50 themes/engines/phptemplate/logo.png not found

Any help appreciated.

What is this?

I have uploaded the Drupal folder to my FTP. Now when I try and create the Drupal DB I get the following errors on all actions:

#1046 - No database selected

I'm trying to upload the database.mysql file using phpMyAdmin. I tell it to upload a text file and it gives me that error.

I've gone in and changed local host to my sql server and database to drupal.

Am I missing something here?
