Installing Drupal

I could open index.php but i couldn't create an admin account. When i click "create account" or something else in index page; it redirects to localhost main page which shows content of htdocs. What is the problem?

PS: I install database by sql browser. I opened database.mysql and copied all then paste it to the sql editor ans run. Because mysql command line gives error.

I have tried to install Drupal 3 times now without success - something I have never had with any other CMS I am looking at.

I have followed the instructions religiously - unloaded; successfully set up MySQL datbase via web control panel; loaded the Drupal database scheme; configured settings.php

Result - can't find a thing.

Can't work out what I am doing wrong.

Can't believe it.

A very frustrated person.

Oh for a simple P&C install.

I am trying to install a new template (grey_box) and I followed all directions in the tutorial, downloaded the engine, loaded up a page.tpl.php file in a special my themes directory and I am getting this error messages

Fatal error: phptemplate_init(): Failed opening required '' (include_path='.:/home/fluidedesign.com') in /home/fluidedesign.com/html/drupal/themes/engines/phptemplate-4.6.0/phptemplate/phptemplate.engine on line 5

Any idea how to fix please?

I keep seeing errors finding pages like login. When I click to see the details of the error it tells me it's trying to locate this:

/user/login?destination=taxonomy%2Fterm%2F18

When I try it, with and without translating the %2F into / (I think that's what those mean) it works fine. Am I dealing with a sluggish server (it seems fine)??

At editing an accessory node to taxonomy - I can not appropriate node another taxonomy - by pressing "viewing" - like works - by pressing "to keep" - all remains on old
