Problem with installation fckeditor and filemanager modules

Hi,

i have installed my new drupal site (www.bobbe.it). After that i have upload the fckeditor and the filemanager modules.
Problem, after the activation of these modules by administration -> modules, always when i save some setting drupal respond me:

show user role

hi all,

i was wondering if it's possible to show user's role on each post and comments like the avatar?
i know to turn on user's avatar by ?q=admin/user/configure

cheers

Theme blank, but everything else works

I'm able to display a theme on my localhost, but when I put it up to my server, none of the themes are displaying. Everything else works, I can make content, so this isn't a pathing issue. Is there an obvious answer to this?

Thanks,
WolfCoast

gallery module block theme problem

I've got drupal 4.6 and gallery 2 installed and the gallery block module installed. Gallery works fine but when I add the block it does not appears in either side, I am using theme bluemarine. In the installation text file it says

Note: the default themes don't work so well with Drupal yet. You'll get best
results if you edit the default theme and move all the blocks out of the sidebar
and into the album and photo pages. There's a drupal specific theme on the way,
stay tuned.

How to test that GD library *is* working?

My old PHP installation didnt have GD library enabled. The settings page told me this. Since I want thumbnails and preview images I read the docs and compiled myself a new PHP library. The message has now gone away to be replaced by a status message saying that GD is working.

HOWEVER whenever I display the settings page I get this in the error log

[Wed Nov 9 21:12:58 2005] [error] [client 62.255.64.6] File does not exist: /home/owal/html/drupal/system/test/tfgw8oNmJAxpMhl6WTxN.png

That directory is world writable.
