Installing Drupal

Using the Weserver AUTH module, when a new account is created, the username doesn't have the first character.

I'm aware of this posting with the identical issue (http://drupal.org/node/13852), but it doesn't include a fix.

Is there a 'fix' or code tweak that can resolve this issue?

Any help/advice appreciated.

Hi All,
I have completed a clean install of drupal cvs and added the cvs taxonomy_menu.module.
If I click on administer > settings > taxonomy_menu I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_checkbox() in /.../modules/taxonomy_menu/taxonomy_menu.module on line 80

I've looked at the other posts but they don't seem to help. I may have a problem with a path but I've tried changing them without success. Freedom2surf have given me the same username and database name. I have the files in a subdirectory called Drupal. The error I get is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: drupal_page_header() in /web/sites/87/johnandsons/www.johnandsons.f2s.com/Drupal/index.php on line 13

I don't know what /web/sites/87 is, I asume it's something to do with f2s.com

I'm running drupal 4.6.3 and want to use the video module supplied as per the download. Have been finding that there are a whole series of problems associated with different modules under drupal each time there is an upgrade of version change - a tad annoying.
