Installing Drupal

Hi there!

Just to give the question a possitive start: I really like Drupal and all of the features it offers me. It fits my purposes perfectly! But I still have one major difficulty. How much RAM is image.inc suposed to be using? I have a limit of 8MB and it seems to have loads op problems with that! Should i give php more space or is it something different?

I've tested fileserv and filebrowser as I want a FTP like page to expose a whole directory.
I've a lot of problems with these modules.

A fews of them :

fileserv I got an error with OO :
API call interrupted
....
with an other type of file : file don't exists ...

filebrowser
mime type not reconized : open OO files as zip
...

It is curious as I don't have any problem with filestore

Any idea ?

I recently bought another domain name and wish to make it a domain add-on on another drupal site (www.whatever.com/sites/anotherdrupalsite). I have drupal installed in the root dir. The problem is when I use cpanel to add-on another domain, it immediately points to a sub directory... I can't make it to point to www.whatever.com/sites/anotherdrupalsite.

Anyone successfully got around this?

i changed the directory for my files on the server once they were ready to be live, and now that i've done that, once i click on "save configuration," i get a whole different site www.samag.com or a javascript page.

does anyone know what is causing this?

i´ve set up my new portal with drupal 4.6 and it still works so fare.
But in my aktually projekt is a small error to find a sollution.

Anyone done a Gallery2 install using Drupals multisite config and Gallery2's ms config?

I have just setup a MS drupal config and wanted to add Gallery to my 2nd drupal site (which is at sites/site2.

The G2 install seemed ot go ok; although i got a timeout at step 8 = although it still seem to be complete (as far as i could tell).

So, now not only does gallery not work but the instll seems to have screwed up my second site.
