Installing Drupal

I am playing with drupal to see how it all works before launching into efforts to make a new site. I have installed it and have configured the modules but I do NOT have a content / admin menu...How do I install/activate this feature since, of course, it kinda runs the damn thing

First of all - I'm a newbie - and I'm not too hardcore PHP programmer! ;-)

I am currently testing Drupal to function as a portal and I would like anevent calender - so naturally downloaded the Event Module and installet it. I enabled it in the Admin - > Modules - and then... BLANK SCREEN. I can't use Drupal anymore

My test website is http://www.reggaexplosion.dk/test/?q=admin/block and I have installed - uninstallet - reinstalled, and the same thing happends.

Hy! I am quite new to sql but I can tell I have some sql sort of problem! When I try to create a new block I get a white page with this message:

user error: Duplicate entry '' for key 3
