Installing Drupal

I did everything on the handbook and when i point my browser to where drupal is this is the page it comes up

Ok. I downloaded Drupal earlier today and I've been making great leaps at getting things working the way I like on my test box. I really want to install a photo album, and acidfree _sounds_ like the best choice. But now I'm confused.

I am running 4.7 (which I understand is still beta, so maybe I shouldn't be) and installed acidfree in the modules directory and updated the database with the proper tables. At this point when I try and activate the module I get:

If you use a web-based control panel, you should be able
to upload the file 'database.mysql' from Drupal's 'database'
directory and run it directly as SQL commands.
My control panel is on godaddy and I have no idea how to connect mysql database with database.mysql.

I have Drupal 4.6 and when I try to add new forum container (?q=admin/forum/add/container), I got following error.

After this error my container has been created but why I get this error?

I have installed Drupal 4.6 and image module. I just want to put images in my content.

But when I try to add an image I got following error.

Hey, i'm just checking out the 7.7 beta, and atm it's asking me to disable mbstring.http_input Is this possible to do site specifically? in .htaccess or something, instead of doing it for the entire server?
