Hi there - I'm trying to get the excerpt mod working in 4.6. I installed it, actived it, but when I when I go to create a new entry, I don't see it. This is a fresh Drupal install - am I missing something? Everything else is working great. Hope I'm not being dim on this...
i am installing drupal 4.6 on Linux Suse 10.0 that is running lampp with pretty much the most recent versions of mysql, apache, and php.
the problem is, once i do the settings.php stuff, i can get to the page that says "welcom to drupal...yadda yadda yadda...to create your first account...."
but this page has no styles to it. it looks just like plain text. the url to see what im talking about is http://www.jasandchristina.com
Hello - I saw several somewhat similar sounding posts, but have been unable to resolve this problem for many hours. Looks like others can get it working with the CVS version so I am doing something wrong.
Doing a fresh install of TinyMCE
TinyMCE Engine: 2.0.4
TinyMCE Module: v 1.76 (just downloaded from HEAD)
CVS from a week ago.
I see the module, am able to activate it. DB tables are setup. But then do not see anything in admin>settings where I can setup tinymce users. I'm logged in as admin.
After installing Drupal as my CMS I sign on as the admin, and I was playing around and put the site OFFLINE FOR MAINTENANCE and then logout to see how it looks but now I can't get back to the login screen all it keep on saying is, is there a way for me to be able to reactive the logon screen..
Site off-line
::ShaSYK:: is currently under maintenance. We should be back shortly. Thank you for your patience.
"Shasyk" is the name of my site....
luck out from my drupal site after I chose to put it on OFFLINE FOR MAINTENANCE
Sometimes modules are supplied with patch files that update them.
If you are using a Windows client machine to administer Drupal on a unix host, and you don't have unix shell access, you will need a copy of patch.exe that you can run in a Windows shell window so that you can then upload patched modules to your server host via ftp.
I hunted for a long time before finding a good source for GNU unix tools recompiled to run as windows shell tools.
