Connecting Drupal- where is the config file?

I have set up my db and am now at the "Connecting Drupal" stage, but I can't find "sites/default/settings.php" in the drupal files that I uploaded to my public directory. What am I missing?

thanks

Blank page, BUT only when doing Create Content in one site of a multi-site

We have an apache-linux multi-site installation of the most recent CivicSpace (0.8.3) packaging of Drupal (4.6.4). I've been testing this mostly through Firefox (initially 1.0.7, but now also 1.5)

Although site A is working just fine, site B displays blank pages whenever I select any of the content types on the Create Content screen. That is, clicking on Page or Story or Event brings up a blank screen in site B, but displays a proper form to fill in on site A. There are no other blank screens that I've discovered so far elsewhere in site A or B.

only index.php working

Hey All,

First installation of Drupal. Had a bugger of a time figuring out the address of my mysql database on the but was able to resolve it.

Anyway, only index.php loads on my page and even then no graphics of css load just text. When I click on any links I get a 404 message.

Is this a common problem?

Thanks.

Getting this error after moving webhosts...

It only appears on the admin pages as far as I notice

getimagesize(): Read error! in public_html/includes/theme.inc on line 482.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Drupal Files location under Apache

I am new to this, so please bear with me!
I am trying to install Drupal 4.6.5. According to the instructions, I should put all the files extracted into "a directory within your web server's document root or your public HTML directory". As I understand it, the root directory for Apache is "htdocs". Within that directory, I already have a "PHPMyAdmin" folder, 5 Apache logo graphics, and the following files:
index.html.en
index.html.var
Plus a .php file I created for testing.

Only Chameleon theme works after installing

After installing Drupal, I got a plain, unformatted site. I switched a bit between themes, but only Chameleon displays properly.

I suspect this has something to do with the theming engine, as Chameleon is the only one of the default themes that doesn't use that...

I'm running Apache 2.2.0, MySQL 5.0.18 and PHP 5.1.1.

Any bright ideas?
