installation drupal-4.6.3 from another PC

Hi friends,
I have trying to install drupal-4.6.3 from another equipment to my pc.The steps were follows;
1)I made the backup (drupal-4.6.3)in a cd
2)I installed it to /var/www on the new equipment
3)I created the mysql database with user and pass.
4)I set settings.php file on /var/www/drupal-4.6.3/sites/default.This was because when I check this file after backup it is not there (?).
5)I modified the $db_url and $base_url.

Drupal in subdomain, clean_url doesn't work

I want to set up a drupal test-installation to play around with on my host-server on which my non-drupal-website is actually installed.

I took a look around in this forum, but none of the recommended ways did work. My problem ist, that I get a 500-error when I turn on clean urls. My host does support mod_rewrite. Here are some facts:

My root-direcory on my hosts server:

/drupal
/errordocs
/logs
/statistics
/website

New Themes not showing up

Hello,

I'm trying to add new themes to www.yogayak.com/drupal .

I've uploaded the directories containing the themes into the proper area and I've uploaded the phptemplates dir in the proper area.

When I hit reload (clear cache etc) I don't see the new themes listed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Love and light,

Michel
