Installing Drupal

I have compiled php 5.1.12 on my Mac (10.4.5) and have mysqli working fine. I don't have the mysql extension installed - only mysqli.

But drupal doen't like this, it seems. It says: "PHP MySQL support not enabled".

Any ideas?

I haved downloaded the countdown module. I have configured it as well. I can't figure out where to go to add the date I would like it to countdown from. Please help.

I am attempting to set up a Civicspace multi-site installation. I have created four databases; civicspace, civicCRM, w_civicspace, and c_civicspace. Each has its separate username and all are hosted on localhost.

I registered as an admin, but my site is really weird...take a look...what is wrong?
