I'am trying to install (op XAMPP) open social but when the installation reaches 60% it crashes with the error: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away.
I have a clean install of Drupal 8.4.3 in a subdomain. After every submit button (for example the 'save configuration' button on the 'appearance' page I get the error message from the title.
I have searched and found references to people upgrading their symphony and getting this message, but so far have not found my solution. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm trying to install Drupal as a multi-site on a local server.
The server is running Ubuntu 16.04 and already has php with the separate databases created and apache installed.
It's located on-site and the drupal site will only ever be accessed from within the network.
I'm not sure what I should be adding in sites.php and the apache vhosts.
I'm trying to create two sites with the following subdomains and they need to be able to have different modules/themes/etc installed.
I am working in an IP test lab. I am doing some testing with some equipment and I need a Webserver to simulate Internet traffic on my network in the lab.
I installed WAMP on a Windows 7 laptop. Then I copied all of the current Drupal files into the /www directory.
Every time I would try to run the Drupal installation, it would crash. I tried it with both Drupal 7 and Drupal 8. In both cases, the installation always crashes before I complete it.
I have a website on my work. Site and all another data uploaded to the FTP server. Have FTP and SSH permission. MySQL Base and PHPMyAdmin on the remote MySQL server and full access to hosting account. It is all working, but i need to change content and cleaning old data from site and it is my problem.
I newer worked in CMS. Hosting that site on Drupal and i need contact Drupal support. Admin don't give any information about site and live company...
