slideshow fails with views_embed_view

Hi,

This is a wonderful module, really congratulations.

One thing though - I usually include blocks in other blocks or in nodes using views_embed_view.
In this case, I used
views_embed_view('My_favourite_quotations_slidesho', '2120efe5468b16f60ac61a357cf7e295')

However, this shows only the first slide - none other follows...

When I display the same block ('My_favourite_quotations_slidesho') as such, it does show slides.

Guess something is missing from the included code.. but what?
