This is a Drupal.org issue.

Probably the web server is overloaded or there is some syncing delay.

I can't "not have uploaded" the files to create a new revision because they are there all the time (in Drupal.org cvs).

Closing for now. If the problem persists, please open an issue on Drupal.org webmasters queue.

okay no problem. The dev version downloads so i just grabbed that instead.

Was just trying to DL via drush and ran into checksum error, so I suppose this'd be the reason :)

Cheers. Oh, and instead of downloading the dev, you can download files individually from the Views Charts CVS repo. Tedious, but should do the trick.

That zipped file you uploaded is actually version 1.0 so that won't help but thanks anyways.

No hey, I just downloaded the latest functional package (1.0 from 4 months ago), then overwrote only the updated files from CVS. Sorry, didn't think to explain. The .info file just happens to be the old one :)
