Honeypot Support Please

Problem/Motivation

I protect all my sites with Honeypot and this is working quite well. However, I cannot chose the Simple News Subscription form to be protected -- by whatever reason. Using the "protect all forms" option is too costly for my purpose and so I had to go for a simple CAPTCHA, which isn't the prettiest solution imo.

Maybe there's a way to use the honeypot.api.php to make the subscription form "honeypot-aware", allowing the subscription form being selected in "forms to protect" on the honeypot configuration page?
