This module is an addon to the S3fs module. It provides 2 more functionalities, that we created for our client.
- If you manage your media via media module, you will now be able to add a directory, where your file will be uploaded. it provides an autocomplete, where you can type to fetch the directory listing. Also, you can provide the directory path, if it does not exist, it will be created. There is a know issue where, if you specify the upload directory in File field settings, our code will not work.
- If you use Media browser, there is another browser this module provides, called s3 view. It will fetch all the files from S3, and display in the browser. You can view the files, and select which to be used. If the file is there in the drupal system, it will use that FID, or else, if not, it will create a new File entity and use that FID.
