If you are missing mini panels in D8, this is for you. Page Sections adds a new panels like page variant to Page Manager that is available as a block. Create your own layouts of blocks and place it in any theme region or in other regular pages.

Usage
Basic steps:
- download and enable the module as usual
- add a new page variant of type "Page section" on any existing or new Page Manager page. Work as usual and save the changes
- a new "Page Sections" block labeled as the page variant will be available
Features
- page section variants are available only as blocks, they are not selectable for the page content in its configured path
- page section blocks from disabled pages are not rendered (block access denied)
