The o_contrib_seven modules adds the textile module but is missing the vars module as a dependency.
I noticed this on an Acquia7 install but I imagine this probably effects standard D7 sites also.

Right, it was included before, but we removed it later without checking why it was added :/

It is now added again in HEAD, but we need to check if it also requires Chili highlighter, as listed at http://drupal.org/project/textile
