The 7.x-3.x branch has existed for some time, and I know of sites that are using it in production (at their own risk indeed). But just to make release management for these sites a tiny bit easier I would kindly like to ask the maintainers of nodequeue to cut a 7.x-3.0-alpha1 release of this branch.

fizk commentedHi dixon_, no work has been going into 7.x-3.x for some time. I believe it was abandoned in favour of the Entityqueue rewrite.
Because of that, there will be few, if any, commits to 7.x-3.x, and therefore, no releases. Sites using 7.x-3.x should migrate to Entityqueue.
Is there anything 7.x-3.x provides that Entityqueue does not?

dixon_Thanks @fizk, I appreciate your quick answer. A statement like this is great, even if it means additional work needed to move to Entityqueue :) I'll make sure we migrate asap.
Perhaps it would be worth updating the project page with the same information? Right now the text is encouraging people to try 7.x-3.x and provide feedback.
