I've had so many issues with 6.x-2.3 that I can't even keep track of them anymore.

It looks like a lot of people have had the mobile_tools_menu_link_to_arg() {} issue. I've tried all of the fixes I could find but still have an issue with it.

I'm still getting a white screen. When I've been able to get it working, the few times it did, the device detection wasn't working as well as the theme switching. I've had to revert back to 6.x-2.1 but nothing is working anymore. How is everyone getting their mobile sites working?

Does anyone know if there is a new stable version coming out soon?

There are currently a lot of issues with Mobile Tools 6.x-2.x.

From the Mobile Tools project page:

Sufficed to say, Mobile Tools 2 has been neglected in the last few months. The 7.x-2.x release for Mobile Tools is going to be deprecated and will no longer be actively developed. All efforts for Drupal 7 will be on the 3.x branch. As for Drupal 6, we do have some patches from the community we'll be pushing out to a new build. We'll keep 6.x-2.x as stable as possible until we have the 3.x version ready. Only critical bugs will be addressed. All new feature requests will be logged and saved for the 3.x branch.

If you are simply looking to switch your website's theme for mobile devices, I would suggest Browscap and Themeswitch which are currently very stable.
