How about giving option to Delete / Kill Node with check box button along with report? I'm sure this can save a lot of time.

Why would I kill a node if all what's wrong with it is that it contains a broken link ?

Sometimes there maybe tons of node's with Videos, Links and when I identify the errors trough link checker, I might not have the resource to fix them all in one go and want to temp. kill the node so that it goes away from being published and I can have it fixed at later date and bring it back on.

Personally i think that arbitarily un-publishing nodes is a recepie for disaster as it could effectively destroy your website.

A better solution , which is probably outside the scope of this module is to remove the link

Remember just because linkchecker tells you a link is non functional, that is non functional in the timeframe it was checking, and within the time parameters that it was allowed to perform the task. It could be that the net is running slow, the site your connecting to is down for maintainece - hey maybe their using drupal and upgrading again :)

If you have as you say hundreds of nodes which may be broken you woudl be better spending your time checking them and fixing/removing. Then run linkchecker on a regular basis say weekly.

If you reallly really want to un-publish them i would suggest that linkchecker provide a second pass option. first to collect the list for you to review and then by selecting a mark un-publish option it goes through them again.

Hi. I don't think it's the task for the Links checker to interfere in any way with the content of the nodes it checks . It's a reporting tool.
The exclusion of certain content types as suggested here http://drupal.org/node/244826 is something worth considering for the next release.
