Tried to upload a file with a '#' in the filename. Displayed fine on the image upload thumbnail and on the node using normal image output. Switching to the ImageCache preset produces a broken image with no error.
Not a problem as I can simply rename the images but I guess the maintainers should know! I'm guessing there may be other characters out there that cause issues?

If I view it using the output "image linked to file" then view the image manually by right-clicking -> view image shows the image fine, with the '#' altered to '%23' in the filename.
However clicking the content image link maintain's the '#' in the filename and produces a 404.
I guess this issue should be moved elsewhere?
