Running IIS 7, D 6.19, Imagecache 2.x-dev, No CleanURLS, Public or Private file system, the image tag has a question mark appended to it on the image's path:

http://oursite/virtual/sites/default/files/imagecache/presetntname/profi...?

Please reopen if this is still an issue with ImageCache 6.x-2.0-rc1.
