Apply ImageCache presets to certaint Content Types

Hi, I don't know how to find info about this.

I want to know if it's possible to apply ImageCache setting just to some content types.

For example, I've two content types, one for projectes (where I need two presets, "projectImage" and "projectThumbnail") and one for exhibitions (with one preset "exhibitionImage").

I know how to do it, but I don't need all images had all presets. Some should have the original and two presets, and other just the original with one preset.

Can this be done?
