This is cross posted from http://drupal.org/node/320111 , but I have a feeling the problem has more to do with gmap or gmapfield than Location.
When creating or editing a node, the location map shows up just fine. I can click to set a location, the lat/long show up, etc.
But I can't get the map to show up on the saved node page. Am I missing setting to make this display? I've been through just about every configuration option I can find.
Any tips on how to get this to work? Thanks.

Are you trying to use this module or the Location Block feature?
The Node Edit page has a map on it for you to pick the location. This does not mean a map will show up on your node. You will need to use this module or set up the Location Block in order to get a GMap on your node that has Location points on it.

If you are also trying to get the Location Block and that does not show, then there is a good chance that the problem is not this module. I would look more into using Location and GMap modules.
Otherwise it's difficult to troubleshoot this issue without more detailed information.
Some tools to help you along the way: devel.module and Firebug.
