Hi,

http://developers.facebook.com/tools.php?templates says that template bundles are depricated from December 20, 2009.
Are you planning to implement the new FB.Connect.streamPublish-API Functions?

If you need help for this, please let me know.

Greetings - ambo.

Subscribing

Subscribing. This is a major issue.

As a side note...why are the two main FB modules abandoned? One of the modules (Dave Cohen's) has an $86,260 grant for its development.

It also says that the API calls will be deprecated as well:

Facebook will deprecate template bundles and their related API calls December 20, 2009.

Please start using stream attachments with stream.publish, FB.Connect.streamPublish, and Facebook.streamPublish instead.

Does it mean that the module will stop working on the 20th?

It looks like I have to create a fork of this module soon because of this. So the first aim is to update the functionality that will be depricated soon.

I'm looking forward to spend some time on this module during the next two weeks.

I just took a look on vectorocs fork (#635568: Patch set All-in-one) and I think that it is a good idea to use that as a new module base. vectoroc implements some nice features so that it makes more sense for me to merge his changes and mine.

Are you guys with me?

Yes sir! We are with you! Let's get it going :D Thank you and bless ya!

Sounds great. How long do you estimate it will take you to update the modules to respond to the changes in the API? Is it possible that you will get it done before the current methods are deprecated?

Hi nirad,

it looks like I have to... I guess that I will upload the updated version at least in the middle of next week.

once again: please take a look at #635568: Patch set All-in-one for latest changes.

I used that patch, ran into other issues (this was a new variation on saying "subscribing")
