AFAICT -- and that's pretty sketchy -- the $route_parameters array should contain object if the parameters for the route have type hinting.

Eg if the route has {node} in it, then you need to supply an actual node, not a node ID.

Ah, turns out it's NOT the case.

With the magic loading that goes on with routes though, I wonder if it might be helpful to point out that the route params for Url's methods should be the verbatim values.

Hm. I personally haven't been confused by this. I always assumed it should contain whatever the parameters are like you'd put in a routing.yml file? Not sure how we'd document this?

I think the current documentation is fine and have never been confused here. Since the original report was the opposite of what happens, and there's not an alternative concrete solution closing as 'works by designed'.
