Upgrade from 7.x-1.1 to 7.x-1.2 wrecks selection of Panels-Variant

Hello,

i´m using the panels node template with 4 variants and a Selection Rule regarding to the field-content of a specific content type.

The selection of the right template worked fine up to ctools 7.x-1.1.
Upgrading ctools to 7.x-1.2 wrecks the selection. Now it appears always the first template for all contents of the filter-field.
When disabling the first variant, allways the second variant shows up and so on.

Panels is up to date (7.x-3.3).

Reinstalling ctools 7.x-1.1 fortunately corrects the behavior. But i cannot upgrade to 7.x-1.2.

Has anyone else observed this behavior?
