From what I can tell, the module installs the tracking code globally for everyone, including logged-in users such as site maintenance individuals, which will ultimately skew the true results. IMHO, there needs to be a way enable tracking by role.

Thanks!

My company had a use for this patch so I've taken a look and made some revisions here and there. There is another patch in another issue that addes a module .install file to handle deleting variables on module uninstall and since this patch adds a variable the patch should also unset on module uninstall but since the patch to add the module .install is not committed I won't update the patch here for that, rather this issue should be tracked to roll in the variable_del when that other patch is committed.

I tested the patch, but had to reroll it based on recent updates. In addition to rerolling, I fixed the variable_del in the hook_uninstall to capture the latest variables that have been added.

After these fixes, the role based loading seems to still be working!
