Caption Filter's current plugin only works with TinyMCE 3.x. TinyMCE 4.x was recently released and features vast UI, UX, and back-end improvements.

Challenges

  1. tinyMCEPopup was deprecated in 3.x in favor of a much nicer modal dialog feature baked into TinyMCE. Working on a migration path may take some time.

Status

  • Maintainer still needs to scope out the upgrade.
