This patch allows users to edit the names of their publication types (custom-defined, or Biblio-defined ones).
This is particularly useful on sites where the default language is not English, where strings like "Book Chapter" need to be entered in the default language rather than in English.

On another note... did you see this issue #660528: New feature for drupal 6.x? And do you think there is a lot of work involved?
