pyxio commentedsame issue for me. did you find a solution?

njacobson commentedI'm pretty sure my live site is running on PHP 5.5. My localhost is running on 7.0. I was able to switch my localhost (WAMP) to use 5.6 and the error went away. I guess as long as our live host doesn't upgrade to some newer version of PHP, we'll be OK.
I'm going to go ahead and leave my localhost at 5.6 since that's a more accurate "test" server for my live site.

shahidbscs commentedis there any solution? I'm also using ubuntu 16.
I also notice some time there is error 'Internal Server Error' and title bar say "732", not sure is it due to this module or not.
I just setup backup every hour and this 'Internal Server Error' almost happening in same interval.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedSame problem here, guys. One hosting company I use for clients upgraded to PHP 7.1.6 and since then I am getting the same error.
Should I wait and hope that the maintainers are so kind to help or do you think it is better to just ask the hosting company to tune it down to PHP 5.6 again?
And also, a huge shout-out to the guys behind the module. It is great!
ETA: I used the patch in #5 here
Worked like a charm!

couturier commentedPlease try upgrading to the new 7.x-3.2 version released September 27, 2017, and see if this resolves your issue. Yes, I'd recommend asking the host to go back to the previous PHP version if that worked for you. The previous maintainers of Backup and Migrate have ceased their support of the project, and a new maintainer is focusing on the port to D8 going forward, so resources are very limited for the 7.x branch.

keithn commentedLong version: I was also getting this error on all my sites running PHP 7. Upgrading to B&M version 7.x-3.2 fixed it.
Short version: awesome!

couturier commented@javed shinwari Did you mean to file this issue against Views or the Backup and Migrate module?
So this was fixed in 7.x-3.2 but you are having the issue in 7.x-3.5?
