I just found out that my manual backups directory was way too big, containing somewhat 500 backups.
I tracked it down that every time cron is run a manual backup gets created and never deleted.
I can't find any kind of option that might cause this?

Ok, this is really strange: I just installed the elysia_cron module and used it to disable the backup_migrate cron task. Still, when running cron, a manual backup gets created.

Weird, that makes no sense whatsoever. Have you uninstalling and reinstalling the module?

Nope, the issue disappeared some time ago. I can't name the cause, though.
