@bighappyface and I no longer work in D7 and don't have the capacity to support the D7 version of this module. Thus I am seeking assistance if anyone wishes to become the maintainer of the 7.x version of this module. If you're interested please let me know in this issue.

As such, I am postponing all 7.x issues pending the outcome of this issue.

After 1.5 years of no action in this issue, I've marked 7.x of this module as not recommended. Folks can still use it of course. I'll mark it as unsupported sometime in the future.
