For the User Module Activity:
Whether selected or not, Login, Logout and View are always displayed in the user Activity.

I have tested it for authenticated users and admins.

If you deselect one of the options (Login, Logout, View, etc) that only affects whether or not future activity is recorded for those operation types. Unless you modify what types of already recorded activity are to be queried for display then you will continue to see activity for operations that you've since deselected. Can you clarify our issue in light of this response?
