I've been looking for a module that would allow users to submit their contact info (name, street address, city, state, zip) to me so I can create a mailing list. I can't seem to find a module that can do this. I've been playing with CCK and it seems like its the right way to go but I'm not sure how to use it. I want people to be able to submit this information but I don't want anyone else (other users) to be able to have access to it for privacy reasons.

So far I installed the CCK module and was able to create a new content type that I labeled Contact Info then created fields for Name, Address etc.. How can I now post this content for users to fill in and how can I be sure that I'm the only one that can see it (i.e. I don't want it posted anywhere on the website)?

The core profile module will let you do this, if you want it to be connected to the profile. You can make fields restricted so that users can only see their own info.

You could also try using CiviCRM which has very advanced capabilities for contacting people. Another option might be setting up an Organic Group. If you want unregistered users to submit information you could use the Survey or the Webform module but they don't have a way to send email - if you do a lot of mailings such as a newsletter, the Simplenews module would be best.
