Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
If you have hook_update() comments that have forward slashes they are removed in the user interface.
Example from robotstxt module:
/**
* #494462: Allow crawling of sites/default/files by search engines, don't disallow it in robots.txt.
*/
Shown in update UI:
7100 - #494462: Allow crawling of sitesdefaultfiles by search engines, don't disallow it in robots.txt.
You can see all slashes in "sitesdefaultfiles" have been removed.

mgiffordI just ran into it here - http://drupal.org/node/1231856#comment-4863514
So, no, not fixed. I think it still has to be fixed in D8 & then brought back to D7 though.

quietone CreditAttribution: quietone as a volunteer commentedThis is a duplicate of #1624278: cleanup of docblock to UI text in update_get_update_list() is weak.
While this is the earlier issue the other one has a patch at RTBC so closing this in favor of that one.
