I have a Welcome! block activated by a pane on the Homepage. When I go to the relevant block to modify that pane content, I cannot find the text or code to modify. Probably that Welcome block was created by a view, which I could not find in the list of created views. I know its a mini panel. Can anybody give me any help how to edit the content of that pane. Thanks a lot

Without knowing how the pane
Without knowing how the pane was made it's hard to say.
Since it's the home page it could be the site's mission statement.
It could also be a block, node or custom content in a panel pane. A view is also a possibility though less likely.
Thanks nevets
As you know, a pane can be added to a page layout structure easily simply by adding a content and the content was apparently a block. This kind of block has no delete beside the configure button which means this was not a custom block. You may also reach that block from the mini panels; it all take you to the block which cannot be altered except for changing roles but not changing the content -- I hope I gave more detail which could enable you to help me ? best
If you look at the block id
If you look at the block id you can determine which module the block came from. You can find the block id when configuring the block (it will be in the url) or by looking at the html for the block in the generated page (it will have a wrapper div with an id)
You have to go to the actual
You have to go to the actual mini panel and edit it from there.
Go to the admin page, under "site building" mini panels should be listed. Click that and you'll be taken to a list of mini panels that have been made. Click the one that you want to edit and go from there.
Hope that helps, good luck!

I had already done as you suggested and I got the view of the added pane which was added from the top button (add content) which was a block with no body to modify. The Block has no body to alter the content from as one usually does with custom body created by you. I think this block was automatically created upon a view creation. I have been looking for the that view but in vain. what do you think?
Help is still sought
I am still hoping of getting a good hint or advice-Thanks
