NodeStream Drupal platform distribution

NodeStream is a distribution of the Drupal web publishing system targeted at online newspapers and magazines, with a focus on social interaction. NodeStream comes out-of-the-box with many of the functions online newspapers expect and require. Since NodeStream is built on standard Drupal components using best-practice procedures, it is easy for Drupal developers to extend and build new functionality on the NodeStream platform.

This documentation is divided into two main sections. The first and most detailed section describes how writers, editors and administrators use NodeStream. The second part contains technical descriptions of how NodeStream is built, with Drupal developers as intended audience.

The writer/editor documentation is written for NodeStream 1.0, while the developer documentation still is written for Alpha1 (unless otherwise is clearly stated).

NodeStream 1 (Drupal 6)

This documentation concerns NodeStream 1, which is developed against the Drupal 6 core.

NodeStream 2 (Drupal 7)

NodeStream 2 has a completely different focus than NodeStream 1. It is made to be a distribution platform, and it is built from the ground
