I have been working on this problem for a few days now and I am stuck as to what the solution is.
I am trying to make a slideshow/carousel widget that looks like the image below:

Basically It needs to function like a carousel but have the ability to breakout fields like the Thumbnail Hover - Views Slideshow.
If you look at the picture the functionality of the widget you can kind of get the idea what I am talking about.
The main part needs to act like a views carousel widget would, but when you click/hover over an item it breaks out and displays 2 more fields in a seperate box.
I tried using the views slideshow - Thumbnail hover to accomplish this... I got it styled the way I wanted to... but it wouldnt behave like a carousel. If I specified 5 items it would only show 5 items and not cycle through the content the way a carousel does.
Now I have been trying to use the Views Carousel submodule and I have it behaving the way the carousel should... but I have no way to break out the fields in a manner that will allow me to get the other fields to behave the way that they should.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this?
