Hi- can someone help me out with my site http://www.filmportal.com please? I am losing my mind over this crazy CMS. I have been trying for months to figure it out, it is definitely not as simple as advertised to use. I guess you guys must mean that Drupal is simple to use if you have a PhD in database management. I was poking around my host last night and saw in my fantastico installer that a new version of drupal was available and like a moron I actually believed all i had to do was click the "update" button with my mouse to install it and everything would be ok, but now my whole site is completely screwed up. My video page is completely disapeared http://www.filmportal.com/video - where it went who knows? And all the "latest video" and "most downloaded video" nodes are gone too, and worst of all no one including me can even download all the viodeos that appear on the index page or any other. I really need help if someone can offer it or I will just have to pull the plug on Drupal and take down the site altogether as I dont have the emotional strength to go through this again with another incredibly confusing CMS so can someone look it over and give me a hand please? Thanks for taking the time to read this. Best wishes-

From what version of Drupal did you upgrade to what version?
did you upgrade the modules with the drupal upgrade?

Hi pcs, thanks for responding. I dont know the exact numbers is the short answer... I had the previously most updated version and just updated to the newest version 4.7.0 I think

oh, and I have no idea what is entailed with "updating the modules" or what that even means so i am assuming not-

Go to admin/modules page and see what modules you have. The modules will have to be upgraded if you upgraded from 4.6.X.

I followed your suggestion and updated the modules but it did not fix any of the aforementioned problems. Nothing whatsoever actually happened. Any other thoughts?

you probably need to install the modules for video, and some others too...

you really should have checked the availability of those modules before upgrading by the way. you should know drupal contrib modules are not always available for newer versions of drupal, and older modules are sometimes incompatible with the latest version of drupal.
