content_moderation module = ''An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator.''

I added the content_moderation module, enabled it, tried setting permissions, and yet it won't work. It brings up this message...

"An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator."

...when I attempt to enable a permission.

Any ideas what to do about that?

The message says contact site admin, and I *am* the admin. ;-) Well, not a coder/programmer, but still... any help would be appreciated, even if just to lead me in the right direction (even if it means using a totally different module to moderate content).
