I've just installed the Pixture Reloaded theme and love the simple yet elegant layout. How would I go about creating a "Duplicate" so that users can choose from a list of pre-defined colors?
I copied the folder and called it "pixture_reloaded_2" and renamed the .info file to the same. I then edited the .info file to have it listed under a different name which it does, but when I change any settings under the #2 theme it ignores what settings I have given it and just loads the defaults. The original one saves and loads the settings that I give it however.

You can instead extend the 'pixture' theme. Check the 'minnelli' theme which is based on 'garland'. Both are provided by default. The minnelli theme folder is inside the /sites/themes/garland folder.
What do you mean by "extend"??
What do you mean by "extend"?? What exactly do I need to change to make it different and keep settings between them? I know the 2 themes are similar but that doesn't tell me what to change.
