Returning the user to the list of content types (../admin/settings/content-types) instead of to the same content type page after completing a configuration would be a significant usability improvement. There is already a precedent (okay, may not be exact) with the way the add taxonomy term page returns the user to the page for creating the next taxonomy term.
Currently, the user has to click on the administer>>settings>>content types link in admin navigation menu each time another content type has to be configured. This may not seem much of a usability improvement when there are only a few content types, but on a site with many custom content types (both flexinode and cck), this would save the admin many unnecessary clicks while being a lot more intuitive.
Please feel free to move this issue to a different component of drupal if this one is not accurate.

Therefore, closing as outdated. If this is incorrect reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and add a comment explaining what still needs to be done.
Thanks!
